The marketing and communications team at Tidewell Hospice won five awards for its 2014 work in the annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report.
Tidewell's entries for its current advertising campaign and special print and video projects received two gold awards, one silver, one bronze and one award of merit.
More than 3,500 entries were received for the Healthcare Advertising Awards. A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

MANATEE -- As a part of Small Business Week, U.S. Small Business Association Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet announced the release of a Spanish language version of SBA.gov.
"The Spanish language site includes much of the content of SBA.gov as well as several popular web-based tools, including the business plan tool and size standards tool," according to the SBA.
The website includes 2,000 translated web pages and is available for use on mobile devices.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, almost a quarter of all businesses in Florida are Hispanic-owned compared to the rest of the nation where only 8 percent of all businesses are Hispanic-owned.
The SBA Spanish site can be accessed at https://es.sba.gov/.
Futuristic AT&T store to host grand opening
SARASOTA -- AT&T will open its "Store of the Future" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. A grand-opening event will feature ticket giveaways and free food.
The store, 215 N. Cattlemen Road, will feature a new store design, complete with a mobile workplace equipped to help customers in any part of the store.
Families can enjoy the festivities with free ice cream and pizza, as well as the chance to win tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays game and "American Idol Live" at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
Radio station WCTQ-FM will be on-site for a live broadcast and will give away prizes to other local events.
AT&T will offer a $50 bill credit for anyone who activates a new line of wireless service or switches to AT&T.
Inventory service firm plans hiring event Tuesday
BRADENTON -- RGIS, LLC, an inventory service company, will host a hiring event Tuesday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the CareerSource Suncoast Bradenton Career Center, 1112 Manatee Ave. E.
RGIS, LLC provides inventory services for retail, healthcare and manufacturing. Interviews will be conducted for part-time inventory auditors with flexible hours from 20 to
40 per week. There are 40 openings with pay starting at $9 per hour.
Appointments are not required for the event, but attendees are asked to arrive ready to interview. Before the event, applicants should register and add a resume to employflorida.com.
