Business briefs: Fawley Bryant designs renovations for Selby Gardens

Fawley Bryant designs Selby

BRADENTON -- Fawley Bryant is designing renovations to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens welcome center.

The firm recently helped transform the Selby Gardens Great Room By the Bay, a popular wedding and reception venue overlooking Sarasota Bay. The new project will complement that makeover.

The welcome center renovation will include updates to the entry canopy and lighting, Cooley Theater and educational displays about the Gardens and its botanical mission. The membership sales areas, daily sales counters and the gift shop also will see renovations. Tandem Construction will manage construction.

Central goals of the design will be capitalizing on the beauty of the grounds, visitor experience, staff/operational efficiency and security.
