Nancy Allen has been appointed branch manager for Wagner Realty's east Manatee office, 5215 State Road 64 E. Allen obtained her real estate license in 1985 and Broker's designation in 1987. Allen is on the board of the Manatee Association of Realtors and is the vice chairwoman of the professional development committee. She also is a board member of the Manatee County Library Foundation, a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Manatee.
John Banks Jr., PE, joins the Sarasota office of Atkins, a design, engineering, and project management consultancy, as technical director of solid waste services. His 30-plus years of environmental engineering include four years as a public servant for Manatee County, in the Public Utilities Department and Solid Waste Division. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Banks is a licensed professional engineer.
Nicole Vollmer has joined Premier Real Estate in Holmes Beach. Vollmer, a Manatee High School graduate, moved to Bradenton with her family in 1987. She has more than 13 years experience in business accounting with Stanley Geller and Associates, and four years experience in new home construction.
Paul Cantor, chief operating officer for Kerkering Barberio Financial Services Inc., has been awarded the accredited investment fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. The designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility.
Mary Ann Turner, former CEO of Turner Tree & Landscape, has joined Wagner Realty's East Man
atee office. For more than 25 years, she was part owner and chief executive officer of Turner Tree & Landscape. She was a founding board member of Horizon Bank of Manatee County, where she later served as board chairwoman. She graduated from the University of South Florida and has served on the boards of the YMCA, St. Stephen's Preparatory School and the Community Leadership Board of USF Sarasota-Manatee. She is a recipient of the 2003 USF Distinguished Alumni Award, the 2006 Spirit of Manatee Leadership Award and the 2007 National Philanthropy Award.
Patricia Macniven has joined Keller Williams Realty Select as a real estate agent. Macniven received a bachelor's degree in business management with an international management concentration from Boston University in January 1995.

Brandon Graber has joined Keller Williams Realty Select as a real estate broker. Graber has been a licensed real estate sales agent for five years, and has recently acquired his broker's license. He moved to Sarasota in 2013 with his wife and two daughters.
Goodwill Manasota has hired Morgan Gerhart as its new director of development. Her focus will be on volunteer engagement, fundraising and partnership development. Gerhart worked for the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, and in the hospitality industry with Marriott, Sheraton and Ramada. She has been active as a community volunteer for numerous nonprofits, including Goodwill and All Children's Hospital Guild of Sarasota Manatee.

Mary Helen Kress, former president and CEO of CareerSource Suncoast, received the 2014 Leadership Award during the Economic and Workforce Outlook '15. Under her leadership, CareerSource Suncoast developed into a major collaborator in Manatee and Sarasota Counties for connecting businesses to workforce solutions and job-seekers to opportunities. She is known for building partnerships with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and community based-organizations. Her initiatives convinced the Governor's office to award a half-million dollar grant to CareerSource Suncoast for a pilot project to help victims of domestic violence with job readiness and employment.
