Forecasters predict chilly nights in Bradenton for the rest of the week

MANATEE -- Chilly nights are in store for the Bradenton area for the rest of this week, according to the National Weather Service.

For today, forecasters are calling for a high temperature of 70 before dropping to 55, with light north-northwesterly winds.

On Wednesday, the temperature is forecast to rise to 69, with north-northwesterly winds of 6 mph to 13 mph, before dropping to 48 for a low. Continued winds will add to the chill, according to the forecast.

For Thursday and Friday, forecasters were calling for highs in the low 70s and lows in the low to mid 50s, with north-northeasterly winds of about 10 mph.
