MANATEE -- Three young boys were airlifted to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg with non-life-threatening injuries following a collision Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred in the 3300 block of 38th Avenue East at about 9 p.m.

A 17-year-old girl was heading westbound in a red car on 38th Avenue East when she lost control and collided with a gray car, according to Lt. Chris Miller.

The girl was taken to Blake Medical Center by her parents to be treated for minor injuries.

The three children in the gray car ranged in age from 3 to 10 years old. Their mother, who was driving, had minor injuries and went to the hospital with her children.
