PORT ST. LUCIE -- Authorities have closed a stretch of I-95 due to heavy smoke from two wildfires near Port St. Lucie.
Fire officials said they had fully contained a 30-acre wildfire and a 10-acre blaze in the median Saturday.
Shifting winds have hampered their efforts and created more spot fires.
The median fire was still burning within control lines late Saturday because a heavy layer of pine needles, leaves and twigs were fueling it.
