Pregnant woman sought after assault on boyfriend

MANATEE — Detectives say they are looking for a pregnant woman because she attacked her boyfriend and threatened to drive off a bridge, the sheriff’s office reports.

Jeanette White, 28, got into an argument with the victim and told him she was going to drive off a bridge, according to a report. The victim got into the car to keep her from driving away from the apartment in the 4800 block of 21st Street West, but she bit the victim twice on his biceps and stole his wallet, the report states.

White, who is six months pregnant, fled in a gray four-door 2000 Dodge Intrepid. She reportedly smokes crack cocaine, the report said.

There is probable cause to arrest the suspect on charges of domestic battery and theft, but detectives have not located her. They issued a “be on the lookout” alert and entered the information in state and national databases.
