The bus was carrying about 50 seventh graders from Manatee School for the Arts home after a field trip to Epcot.
Two students were treated at the scene after complaining of whip-lash type injuries.
The accident was at U.S. 301 North and 19th Avenue East and caused blockage in the west-bound lanes of U.S. 301.
There was no immediate word from the Florida Highway Patrol about whether charges would be filed in the accident.
