MANATEE — A 31-year-old man had a buzzed experience during a DUI arrest after a deputy stunned him with Taser, late Tuesday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were switching hand cuffs at the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office district 2 parking lot when 31-year-old Jason Waldron began resisting deputies at 11:40 p.m.
He was drive stunned in the chest, which had little to no effect on him, according to the report.
Deputies were able to physically regain control of Waldron and take him to the jail, said Dave Bristow, public information officer.
As of Wednesday morning, Waldron remained in jail with a $1,250 bail on charges of DUI and resisting.
