A 28-year-old day care worker was arrested on charges of child neglect and abuse with a 12-year-old girl at her home, according to Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Aimee L. Fieser, was released on supervised release, after she pinched both sides of the child’s neck when she was holding her on the sofa with her knee, according to the report.
The report also states the child was helping Fieser move furniture and helped remove a screw from a bolt attached to a bed when Fieser became frustrated and hit the child.
The child was struck on top of the head with pliers and then slapped across the face several times, according to the report.

After striking her, Fieser said, “I’ll kill you if you put a hole in the wall,” according to the report.
A detective observed scratches on the girl’s neck and face, as well as bruises on her forehead, eye and chin area and top portion of her ear.
The sheriff’s office redacted the information showing the day care at which Fieser works. She could not be reached for comment.
