MANATEE — Two brothers were robbed outside their home by four masked men, one of whom used a stun gun on one of the victims, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The brothers arrived at their residence in the 4100 block of 70th Street Court East, Palmetto, about 3:30 a.m. when they were confronted by the assailants, who were described as wearing all black clothing.
One of the robbers stunned one of the brothers in the neck and took his wallet, which contained credit cards and some cash, according to a news release.
The other brother was still in the vehicle, and the attackers were unsuccessful in removing him from the car.
The suspects fled to the north and could not be located.
