MANATEE — A Bradenton man is scheduled to go before a judge in February after he recently was stopped in a red Corvette and had more than 300 grams of cocaine, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Oscar Aguirre Gonzalez, 45, was stopped Dec. 30 in the 7400 block of State Road 70 East for not wearing his seat belt. A sheriff’s dog conducted a walk around the vehicle and detected the drugs. When investigators searched the car, they found a bag of cocaine behind the passenger seat, according to a report.
The cocaine weighed approximately 316.4 grams and Gonzalez was charged with trafficking in cocaine, according to the report.
He posted a $25,000 bond, according to the jail Web site.
