MANATEE -- A Bradenton man was arrested Wednesday afternoon while scrapping copper wiring for money at Trademark Metals Recycling in Sarasota, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.
The copper wiring matched wire stolen from power poles in eastern and northern Manatee County. The wiring was positively identified by representatives of the Peace River Power Cooperative, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Sean Wolf, 31, of the 2000 block of 29th Avenue West, Bradenton, was charged with dealing in stolen property. The investigation continues and multiple additional charges are pending.
