Muggers get $4 in Bradenton bus station robbery

MANATEE - Muggers got away with $4 and a debit card after they robbed a Tampa man at the Greyhound bus station in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 2 a.m. this morning, the 32-year-old victim was at the bus station in the 3000 block of First Street West when he was approached by two to four men, one of whom was possibly carrying a handgun. They took his money and debit card before fleeing the scene, according to a report.

Deputies said the man was not able to provide a description of the suspects because he was intoxicated. The victim wandered around for two hours before calling authorities, the sheriff's office said.
