Crist appoints Bradenton woman to physical therapy board

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has appointed Violet Parker, 56, of Bradenton, to a seat on the Board of Physical Therapy Practice.

Parker, regional sales manager for Aegis Therapies, was appointed to a term starting today and ending Oct. 31, 2012.

The Board of Physical Therapy Practice is responsible for licensing and regulating physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who meet statutory requirements for safe practice in Florida.
