Memorial Day Weekend Service: Manasota Memorial Park Memorial Day weekend service for veterans, 9 a.m. Saturday, American Riders from all service organizations will ride from the Chris Cobb American Legion Post 312, 1610 57th Ave. E. in Oneco to the Garden of Valor Cemetery, 1221 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton. The Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion will conduct honors at the service. Wreaths from the organizations and citizens of Manatee County will be presented. Duane LaFollett, general manager of Manasota, will request a moment of silence to remember the fallen. Following the service, flags will be placed on the graves of all veterans.
