BRADENTON -- St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 1006 First St. W., Bradenton is coordinating evangelistic training followed by three days of evangelistic services.
"As Christians our primary goal is to share God's love and plan of salvation to the world, but more closely to the Bradenton/Sarasota community," said senior Pastor Jasper Jackson. "There is an urgency to reach out to our own -- to people who are grieving, hurting, without peace and hope, living dysfunctional lives. We believe in nourishing the physical man, but equally or more important is the spiritual aspect of our lives. We are proclaiming God is still interested in His people and He is the answer for this troubled world."
Local churches have been invited to partner with us, Jackson said.
There is strength not only in numbers within one's church but also from a wider representation of the surrounding area, he said. It is hoped this effort would start or renew the coming together of Christian churches, working in one accord and reclaiming our communities one by one.
