Tot Shabbat: “Giving thanks” will be the theme of Tot Shabbat at Temple Emanu-El, 151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota, 10:30 a.m. today.

Celebrating youth: The Church of the Redeemer, 222 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota, will offer a Solemn Evensong honoring and celebrating Sarasota’s young people 5:15 p.m. Nov. 20. Performing will be percussion, string, and bass orchestra quartet from the Sarasota Youth Symphony.

Yoga breakfast: “Om Shalom Yoga” is Temple Emanu-El Brotherhood’s newest breakfast program, to be held 9:30 a.m. Nov. 20. at the synagogue, 151 McIntosh Road. Sarasota. There is a $5 charge for the breakfast. Information: 941-921-2229.

Feeding the homeless: For the 11th annual Thanksgiving community celebration theater luncheon of the Sarasota Ministerial Association will bring together local government representatives, faith and other community leaders to dine with the homeless while enjoying an enactment of the iconic TV program, I Love Lucy 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. Nov. 23 in the First Baptist Church, 1670 Main Street, Fellowship Hall, Sarasota. Choral Mass: The clergy and parish family of the Church of the Redeemer, 222 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota, invite the entire community to celebrate Thanksgiving Day during a special Choral Mass at 10 a.m. Nov. 24. Advent dinner: The Women’s Ministry of Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, is sponsoring an Advent dinner for women 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Organ dedication: The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 4408 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach, is will have an organ dedication and concert 4 p.m. Dec. 4. The organ was installed in the church in October, 2003, a gift of Robert and Jan Pettus, but has never been formally dedicated.
