Chabad of Bradenton is holding a martini and wine Hanukkah party for adults at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Brent and Ricki Rubin. Cost: $15 a person or $25 a couple. Information: 752-3030.

Sunday

n Chabad of Bradenton is hosting a Hanukkah Art Festival for children 11 a.m. at the Chabad Center, 11509 Palm Brush Trial.

n Temple Beth El is hosting a Community Menorah Lighting 7 p.m. in downtown Bradenton on the grounds of the Manatee Players, 102 12th St. W.

Thursday

Chabad of Bradenton is hosting its Sixth Annual Hanukkah on Main Street Celebration at 6 p.m. in Lakewood Ranch.

The event features live entertainment, cotton candy, chocolate candies, hot potato cakes and other food, an art table, a dreidel house, and the lighting of a 9-foot menorah. Following the kindling will be a Hanukkah concert with “The Mike Eisenstadt Band.”

Friday

n Congregation Ner Tamid is hosting a lighting of members’ menorahs at 6 p.m at Lakeside South Clubhouse, 3817 40th Ave. W.

Ner Tamid is also hosting a family game night and potluck dinner after the lightings. Price of admission is the donation of one food item. Information: 755-1231.

n For the fourth year in a row, the Hanukkah service at Temple Emanu-El, 151 S. McIntosh Road in Sarasota, will feature the Sarasota Jewish Chorale during Shabbat services at 8 p.m. Dec. 18. The service is open to the public. A dessert reception follows the service. Information: 371-2788.
