Relgion almanac

Religion Almanac, a roundup of local religious events open to the public, is published weekly in Faith & Values. Deadline for news releases is noon Monday for the Saturday edition. Service times are listed separately in the church directory; support groups are listed Tuesdays in Health & Fitness; club meetings are published Fridays in the Neighbors section. The list of ongoing events runs in alphabetical order by name of church or group, in rotation, as space permits.

Spiritual Identity: Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 322 15th St. W., Bradenton, will have a service 10:30 a.m. May 3 on Finding Our Spiritual Identity. Information: 746-0067.

Ellenton United Methodist Church: 3607 U.S. 301 N., Ellenton has an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast 8-10 a.m. the first Saturday of the month. Bible Study Fellowship: an international, interdenominational Bible study that offers a four-fold approach to studying the Bible, meets 9:30 a.m. the first Wednesday of the month, through May, at Faith Bible Church, 1511 Morgan Johnson Road, Bradenton. An evening women’s class meets at Whitfield Christian Church, 3550 Whitfield Ave, Bradenton, 6:55 p.m. on Mondays.
