Choral performance: The adult choir of Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, will present Joseph Martin’s cantata “The Weeping Tree” 9 and 10:30 a.m. April 5. For more information, call the church office at 907-7333.

Easter services: Ellenton United Methodist Church, 3607 U.S. 301 N., Ellenton, will have Easter services 8:30 and 11 a.m. April 5, 7 p.m. April 9, 7 p.m. April 10, and 8:30 and 11 a.m. April 12.

Sunrise service: Community Easter Sunrise services will be held 6:30 a.m. April 12 at Rossi Waterfront Park, 3rd Avenue West and 7th Street West.

nThe 45th annual Sunrise Service, sponsored by the Anna Maria Island Kiwanis Club, will be held 6:30 a.m. April 12 at the Manatee Beach, Gulf Drive, Anna Maria Island. Members of the All island denominations and their ministers will present the sermon, scripture and songs to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Bring a beach chair or towel to sit on.
