The ninth annual Art at The Ranch juried show was held on Main Street last weekend, sponsored by ArtCenter Manatee and Lakewood Ranch Communities LLC.
This annual event continues to attract ever-growing crowds.
The 67 artists in the show, many from our area, tempted attendees with original works in oil and watercolor, photography, jewelry, pottery, textiles, glass and more.
Outdoor seating at Main Street restaurants was filled with shoppers and spectators.

Kathleen Masur gathered a crowd while demonstrating her craft of painting on silk.
Shirley Bennett, community liaison for LWR Communities, provided maps and information about Lakewood Ranch from her booth.
An eye-catching crowd pleaser was the display of stainless steel sculptures by Lakewood Ranch artist Jorge Gutarra, who creates intricate birds, fish and ceremonial masks from everyday flatware. Joe and Nilda Mercado brought their two children to the booth to see the impressive works.
