Trail Blazing Sams: Trail Blazing Sams is a chapter of Good Sam International and is based in the Tampa Bay area. UFO Group of Manatee: The UFO Group of Manatee meets 1:30-4:30 p.m. the first Saturday of each month at the Braden River branch library, 4915 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton. U.S. Cadet Leadership Academy: The U.S. Cadet Leadership Academy is accepting applications for admissions. The mission of the academy is to develop people into leaders and better citizens by teaching every member to live by the seven Army values and developing in each member the 14 traits of leadership. The minimum age for cadets to join is 12, and they may remain in the program until the age of 21. Welcome Club: The Welcome Club of Sarasota meets at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. the fourth Thursday of every month for a luncheon with a speaker/entertainment. The club is a social and civic organization for new residents of Sarasota or Manatee counties. Young Mother’s League: Young Mother’s League is a nonprofit, social organization for mothers of children up to 10 years old. The group provides membership to an extended family of approximately 75 mothers in the Sarasota/Manatee area. Membership year runs from September to August. The annual nonrefundable fee of $35 includes a monthly newsletter and calendar of events.
