A local group of ladies from all walks of faith (and none) has been meeting at Emmanuel Baptist Church on U.S. 301/Old Tampa Road in Parrish to make beads for those in nursing homes. Activities include car pooling to gem shows, meeting weekly to either create the styles, compare styles, or barter styles and talk. No experience necessary. Looking for more ladies to help. Donations of broken necklaces are appreciated. Lessons are free. Minimal price for clasps and stones, or bring your own.
