PALMETTO -- The fifth annual Sarasota-Bradenton Home & Garden Show will be March 5-6 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, at 1 Haben Blvd.
The show will feature everything for in and around the home -- kitchens, baths, windows, doors, roofing, interior design, landscaping and more.
There will be how-to seminars throughout the weekend by local professionals. Admission is $4, youngsters under 18 are free. Free admission coupons can be found for a limited time at area Walgreens stores and Home Depots.

LWRBA Breakfast of Champions set at SCF
LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Justin Nelson of Tony Robbin's Peak Performance Strategy will be the keynote speaker at the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance's February Breakfast of Champions: Turning Action into Results. LBK mansion on the Gulf sells for $7 million
LONGBOAT KEY -- A 7,586-square-foot beachfront mansion with a modern interior design ethic and a Gulf of Mexico lot featuring a panoramic water view has sold for $7 million.
Gabe and Charles Buky with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate's Longboat Key office closed the sale at 3475 Gulf of Mexico Drive. The home originally listed for $7.395 million. Coldwell Banker handled both sides of the sale. The Bukys represented the sellers. Lori Cashi-Hought and Tami Cashi represented the buyers.
