No arrests in hit-and-run death of Bradenton girl

BRADENTON -- No arrests have been made yet in the Florida Highway Patrol’s investigation into Monday evening’s hit-and-run that killed 5-year-old Kimora Samuel near the 3400 block of U.S. 41

“We’re continuing with the investigation and interviewing witnesses,” said FHP Lt. Chris Miller Wednesday morning. “I do not anticipate any developments today.”

On Tuesday FHP investigators impounded a dark green four-door KIA from the Mira Lagos apartment complex that matched the description of the car involved in the fatal accident.

Kimora and her 15-year-old aunt were struck by a vehicle that exited the apartment complex and continued southbound on U.S. 41.
