Holidays at the Ca d’Zan: Ringling Museum of Arts, 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota

Come see all that glimmers at the Ca d’Zan mansion, including its grand holiday decorations, at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Arts 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays-Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursdays now through Jan. 14, featuring the interior and exterior of the mansion decorated with period-appropriate holiday decorations with multiple Christmas trees decorated in hand-blown ornaments. “Santa Jaws and Penguin Elf”: Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota

This is the season to meet Santa Jaws, Mote mascot Gilly the shark in his holiday finest noon-2 p.m. Saturdays Nov. 26-Dec. 17. Visitors can get their photos taken with Gilly and his helper Percy the Penguin Elf. Photo ops with Santa Jaws are free with admission.
