PALMETTO — A missing 13-year-old girl was located and returned to her parents Wednesday, according to a Palmetto Police Department report.
Scotia Hammond, who has been missing since Friday, was found unhurt in Kissimmee with a 24-year-old man, Donald Hannah.
Hannah, who is a resident of Osceola County, was arrested and charged with interfering with parental custody, and lewd and lascivious battery.
Hammond voluntarily left Manatee with Hannah, according to the report.
Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigators assisted the Palmetto Police detectives in the investigation and in returning the girl to Palmetto.
