BRADENTON — Bealls has found a way to extend its online shopping market to international consumers.
The Bradenton-based retailer is partnering with another local company, MyUS.com, to give international consumers the ability to make and receive purchases from beallsflorida.com.
MyUS.com launched the services for Bealls this week under an agreement in which no money will be exhanged between the two local companies.
Instead, company officials say the partnership allows both businesses to expand their client base.
“It’s one of those partnerships that’s mutually beneficial for both,” said Robert Chodock, chief marketing officer of MyUS.com. “We’re supporting new business and helping Bealls reach new customers.”
MyUS.com, a global package forwarding service, will provide Bealls’ international customers with a U.S. address that Bealls will ship ordered products to. MyUS.com will forward purchases from the U.S. address to the overseas customer, gaining extra revenue from shipping.
