One by one, Logan Chungo, 4, holds up each egg collected in the mad egg hunt dash at G.T. Bray, his father checking carefully for an inserted prize.

Though there was only candy in his eggs, Logan didn’t seem too worried. In fact, checking each egg seemed to try his patience, keeping him from the business at hand—namely, eating his sugary bounty.

All around the field there were children spinning, running, sitting and clutching baskets. One little girl enjoyed the gathering process so much she kept dumping her eggs so she could gather them all up again as her mother watched with a smile.

Finally, all eggs carefully checked, Logan reached for his father´s hand and they turned to leave the field for more egg-citing adventures.
