On Sunday, fans who caught Tim McGraw's concert in Nashville got a couple of big surprises. The superstar singer's superstar wife, Faith Hill, joined him on stage for a song. So did their 18-year-old daughter, Gracie McGraw. Father and daughter performed a duet on a song called "Here Tonight," from his upcoming album.
McGraw will be in Tampa on Saturday for a concert at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. You can't count on seeing such high-caliber surprise guests -- the Sunday show they showed up for was their hometown of Nashville -- but you never know.
Whether Hill and Gracie show up, or not, though, country fans ought to be in for a great show.
McGraw's Shotgun Rider tour also includes Chase Bryant and Billy Currington.
Bryant released his first, self-titled EP last year and scored a hit with his first single, "Take It on Back." His second single, "Little Bit of You," hung around the mid-ranges of the country charts earlier this year. Bryant's a pop country artist who's been compared to Keith Urban.
Currington's been familiar to country fans since his 2003 hit "I Got a Feeling." His follow-up, a duet with Shania Twain called "Party for Two," secured his place as a country star, and such hits as "People Are Crazy" and "That's How Country Boys Roll" solidified his status.
