"Live from downtown, it's Friday Night" will be 6-9 p.m. June 19 and every third Friday of the month featuring live performances by Sarasota's premier entertainers and performing arts organizations and enjoy shopping at a unique mix of boutiques, galleries, and salons. Bradenton Boat Show: Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto

The Bradenton Boat Show will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. June 19-20 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 21. Attendees can browse a vast selection of new boats, boating accessories, fishing gear, and are encouraged to sit in on a session at the Capt. Joe Fishing School. Bait, tackle and line for these hands-on seminars will be provided. Depending on the topic participants rig lures, tie knots or learn how to throw a cast net. Ghost Spirit and Orb Walks: Bunker Hill Vineyards and Winery, 8905 Bunker Hill Road, Duette

Bunker Hill Vineyard will host "Spirit and Orb Walks" 8 p.m. May 16. Guests are asked to bring cameras with a night flash, EVP recorders, EMF recorders, digital temperature recorders, and extra batteries. Guests must arrive by 7:30 p.m. for a 30 minute indoctrination and discussion of the night's walk and activities. The "Spirit & Orb Walks" will begin promptly at 8 p.m. and will last until 9:30 p.m. Good, closed toes, walking shoes, long pants and a jacket are encouraged. Since these walks will take place at night on both level and non-level ground, participants should be in good physical shape. Cost: $10. Beach market at Coquina: Bradenton Beach

Come and stroll the beach market at Coquina 10 a.m.-4 p.m. every Sunday through July, featuring fresh produce, arts and crafts, jewelry, local artists, apparel, pottery, purses, collectibles, health and beauty items and much more. The Downtown Sarasota First Friday Art Walk will be 6 p.m. July 3 featuring businesses, shops and eateries, decorated to welcome the holidays, and will stay open late as live music fills the streets. The Anna Maria Island Privateers will host their annual 4th of July parade stepping off at 10 a.m. at South Coquina Beach and covering the entire length of Anna Maria to North Anna Maria City Pier. There will be a Parade Party at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, 4000 Gulf Dr., Holmes Beach noon-4 p.m. featuring food specials and live music by the Steel Relic, a kids classic rock cover band, followed by the band Crossover.
