Florida Georgia Line plays Tampa

It's seems hard to believe that just three years ago, hardly anyone had heard of Florida Georgia Line.

They country duo have become megastars after only a few years and only two studio albums.

Until this year they've only had one national tour as headliners. The second one, dubbed the Anything Goes Tour, stops at Tampa's Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley (Kelley's the Florida half of the duo, from Ormond Beach) have won just about every award a country band can win over the past three years, including six Academy of Country Music Awards, four CMT Awards and even a Canadian Country Music Award. They've toured or recorded with artists as diverse as Dierks Bentley and Nelly. They're usually considered a "bro country" band, but they've also cited Nickelback, Shinedown and Three Days Grace as models for their sound.

Their openers for this show are Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard.

Rhett has scored huge hits with "It Goes Like This," "Get Me Some of That" and "Make Me Wanna."

Ballard has opened for Kenney Chesney and Lady Antebellum. His hits include "Helluva Life" and "Sunshine & Whiskey."
