Ghost Spirit and Orb Walks: Bunker Hill Vineyards and Winery, 8905 Bunker Hill Road, Duette
Bunker Hill Vineyard will host "Spirit and Orb Walks" 8 p.m. May 16. Guests are asked to bring cameras with a night flash, EVP recorders, EMF recorders, digital temperature recorders, and extra batteries. Guests must arrive by 7:30 p.m. for a 30 minute indoctrination and discussion of the night's walk and activities. The "Spirit & Orb Walks" will begin promptly at 8 p.m. and will last until 9:30 p.m. Good, closed toes, walking shoes, long pants and a jacket are encouraged. Since these walks will take place at night on both level and non-level ground, participants should be in good physical shape. Cost: $10. Harvey Milk Festival: Five Points Park, Main Street, Sarasota
The sixth annual Harvey Milk Festival will be 2:30 p.m.-midnight May 16 featuring keynote speaker Ken Shelin of Equality Florida and live music by various local and regional artists. "Recycled Dreams" Teen Fashion Show of Recycled Materials: The Friend Groups of the Manatee County Library System will host the second annual "Recycled Dreams" Teen Fashion Show of Recycled Materials 1 p.m. May 16 at the Manatee County Central Library, 1301 Barcarrota Blvd., Bradenton. Teens, ages between 13 and 19, will walk the runway presenting an original article of clothing created from recycled items. The show will include music and feature professional judges.
