Last year, right around this time, that legendary aggregation of actors and singers informally called the Rat Pack came back to life at the Manatee Performing Arts Center.
Tony Sands, Geno Monroe and Johnny Petillo portrayed three of the group's most famous members -- Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin in a show called "The Rat Pack -- Together Again."
Now "Together Again" is back again. Sands, Monroe and Petillo will be at Stone Hall at the Manatee Performing Arts Center for one show Wednesday afternoon.
They re-create the fraternal comedy of the Rat Pack shows, and also offer faithful versions of many of the songs that made Frank, Sammy and Dean some of the biggest solo artists of their era.
Videos enhance the impersonations, and the show gets booked steadily up and down the east coast.
The show's website touts a review from a New York newspaper that reads, "The vocals and arrangements are complex and rich, filling the room with beautiful music."
Details: 2 p.m. Jan. 21, Stone Hall at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, 502 Third Ave, W., Bradenton. Tickets: $27- $37. Information: 941-748-5875, manateeplayers.com.
