Myakka boy receives memory to last for a lifetime

Matthew of Myakka City turned 10 on May 16 and had always dreamed of riding in a limousine.

Matthew had the surprise of his life when a stretch limo pulled in the driveway to take him to his birthday dinner.

The limo took Matthew, his brother Nathan, 7, his friend Emma, 10, his mom and his dad to their favorite restaurant, Jo-To Japanese Steakhouse, in Sarasota.

There they met Matthew's grandfather, Oliver DeSofi, and Matthew's tae kwon do mentor, Kyle Goins.

Making memories is very important to Oliver DeSofi and his daughter Kerri Hansen and this one should last a lifetime!

"Don't save everything for later because later might not be an option," said Kerri Hansen.
