To provide people with the financial tools they need for successful homeownership, First Bank is once again partnering with Manatee County Habitat for Humanity to hold monthly Money Smart Program workshops. "The Money Smart program is a great way for people to build financial knowledge, develop financial confidence and use banking services effectively," said Anne Lee, First Bank Retail President for Florida. "We are excited to continue our partnership with an organization that has helped so many people realize the American dream of homeownership." The Money Smart classes will be held the next two Tuesdays this month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Feb. 8 and Feb. 15 at First Bank's Bradenton office, 1306 6th Ave. West, Ste. 300. "We are thrilled to be partnering with First Bank to assist our prospective Habitat homeowners," said Diana Shoemaker, Family and Volunteer Program Manager for Manatee County Habitat for Humanity. "The Money Smart Program is providing families in our homeownership education program with the financial knowledge and skills they will need to be successful future homeowners. First Bank's program is a great educational resource to our community."
