The Friends of the Island Branch Library are pleased to welcome Diana Milesko, who will present a program about Kayaking at the Island Branch Library on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
Milesko's program is entitled "Kayaking Inland Florida." She will offer all of the important "do's, don'ts, and delights" of the outdoor activity and share her secrets regarding the best times to head out. Attendees will learn where to go, what to take, and what to expect.
The program, which is part of the Alice Taylor Reed Lecture and Travel Series, is FREE and seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No prior registration is necessary.
Special programs such as this are made possible by funds generously provided by the Friends. The Friends are a support organization for Manatee County’s Island Branch Library. Monies raised by the Friends go toward programs and services that tax dollars alone cannot provide.
