Senior Friendship Centers is hosting a fun-packed day for families--from grandparents to children and friends alike--at the 1st Annual “Friendship Ride,” on March 26, 2011. There will be activities galore for all ages to help us pedal our way to success. Come ride the Legacy Trail and The Venetian Waterway Park and then join us at the Senior Friendship Centers campus for a Bicycle Rodeo, entertainment, food and exhibits.We realize that in helping others we help ourselves. As a non-profit charitable organization, Senior Friendship Centers’ staff and volunteers dedicate themselves to helping older adults in our communities live with dignity and respect by providing services that address their needs:-Center for Healthy Aging-providing medical and dental care, medication assistance, education and support for people in need 50 years and older.- Friendship Center-programs, activities and classes to strengthen one’s mind and body- Home Delivered Meals-to homebound seniors.- Adult Day Services-provides quality care in a supervised environment.- Caregiving Resource Centers-supporting the needs of elders, their caregivers and families.- Care Management & In-home Services-helping people remain in their homes.
