The First Annual Big Blast

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast host the First Annual Big Blast Outdoor Recreation Festival on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Lakewood Ranch Park from 10:00AM-5:00PM. Admission is FREE and parking is only $5.00 per car. The proceeds from the event will benefit the one-to-one mentoring programs of Manatee County.

The Big Blast is designed to provide interactive family-friendly activities including: a miniature golf course; health and safety seminars; agricultural activities; local high school jazz bands in conjunction with the Manatee Jazz Festival; entertainment; great food; children’s games and inflatables; aviation displays, GWIZ Museum activities; MOSAIC specialty exhibits; arts and crafts show including Village of the Arts artists; multiple sports teams, ReMax Alliance Group will provide tethered hot air balloon rides, (weather permitting), fitness clinics and golf clinics; with so much more to come!
