COBO DANCE is devoted to engaging new audiences for contemporary dance by creating works of extraordinary artistry that are engaging and uplifting to audiences throughout the world. In addition to choreography and performance, COBO Dance positively impacts children, students, and communities through student performances, lecture-demonstrations, master classes, post-show discussions and more. COBO Dance has a core company of five full-time dancers and seven apprentice members. It currently maintains an ever-growing repertory of more than a dozen works choreographed by Cory Boyas.

Jazz Juvenocracy is a band of six kids, ages 13 to 18, from Sarasota, Florida. They put the band together themselves, three years ago, playing jazz in front of the local grocery store every Saturday morning. Seeing how determined they were, Greg Nielsen, jazz trombonist, took them under his wing and has been coaching them ever since. Nielsen has done a wonderful job of sharing his extensive knowledge of jazz with the kids as he has shared the stage with Slide Hampton, Cab Calloway, Ron Carter, Bobby Shew, Nancy Wilson and many other jazz legends. The band is now regularly performing at the finest jazz venues in Florida and has made several television appearances. Members have performed at The Grammy Awards, The Berklee Jazz Festival and the Clearwater Jazz Festival.

Jazz Juvenocracy will be embarking on their first European tour this summer, playing at The Jazz a Vienne Festival in France, The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and The Tuscany and Umbria Festivals in Italy. The members are so excited about their upcoming tour.Musician line up:Austin Parker Gill, guitarAlex Hernandez, tenor and soprano saxBrent Layman, upright and electric bassBit Risner, trumpet, flugel horn and vocalsRodney Rocques, drumsTommy Silverman, alto sax, clarinet, flute and EWI
