There is no better place to be on the third Friday of each month than at Rossi Waterfront Park, watching a free outdoor movie on a twelve foot screen with your friends and neighbors. Bring your family, blankets and lawn chairs; or park your boat on the Manatee River and watch it from there. You bring the snacks, they’ll bring the stars.
Scheduled for Friday, March 19th at sunset is Bad News Bears PG. The Bad News Bears is a movie about children that is refreshing, utterly believable, and quite cleverly funny. Walter Matthau is at his absolute best as the grumbling beer-guzzling former minor-league pitcher who gets roped into coaching a band of half-pint misfits somewhat loosely called a team. Rossi Park is located in downtown Bradenton on Third Avenue West between Ninth Street West and U.S. 301. Parking is available at the park, on the first two floors of the Promenade Parking Garage and downtown.
Reels at Rossi Park’s major sponsor is the Bradenton Downtown Development Authority, and coordinator is Realize Bradenton. For more information, please contact Anna Pohl, Events Manager, at 941-704-4366 or firstname.lastname@example.org
