Bradenton's biggest New Year's Eve party is going to be even bigger.
Sam Woolf, the Bradenton singer-songwriter who made fans all over the world with his appearances on 'American Idol," is now slated to appear at the Main Street Live New Year's Eve celebration.
Woolf, who graduated from Braden River High School earlier this year, finished fifth on the 2013-14 season of "American Idol." Just last week he released his first EP, "Pretend."
The songs on "Pretend' are all Sam Woolf originals, and he'll be performing several of them during his appearance at Main Street Live.
The event is free and open to the public. It's scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Woolf's appearance is scheduled for 7-8 p.m.
