If you surf Newman University’s Web site, there’s a picture of Ryan Bradley making a low-post move en route to the basket.
It’s no mistake Bradley is the face of the Jets’ men’s basketball team. The 6-foot-10 senior center and former Bradenton Christian standout is leading the team with 14.5 points a game, and he’s grabbing more than six rebounds a contest. Bradley has been Newman’s leading scorer five times this season as the Jets, a Division II program, have a 5-5 record.
Bradley recorded a season-high in points and rebounds (30 points and 15 boards) in a 103-92 overtime win against Sterling College on Nov. 25.
Bradley originally signed with Wichita State University out of high school, but transferred to Newman last season.
