Sophomore Ryan Leunk scored a career-high 31 points, and classmates Jake Lister and Vincent Rehfeldt had 21 and 19 points, respectively, as the Bradenton Christian boys basketball team downed visiting Saint Stephen's 78-59 on Tuesday in Class 3A-District 10 play.
Leunk grabbed 15 rebounds, and Lister had nine assists for the Panthers (3-3, 2-1). Jordon Murrell led the Falcons (3-4, 1-2) with 20 points, and Omar Sammour had 19 points and 12 rebounds. Sid Price added 10 points.
ST. PETERSBURG LAKEWOOD 80, BAYSHORE 67 -- The host Bruins (3-6, 0-2 Class 5A-District 10) fell despite 31 points from Wesley Jackson and 17 from Justin Harris.
On Monday, Jackson scored 34 as host Bayshore got past Sarasota Military Academy 77-71. Thomas McDuffie had 14 points.

CARDINAL MOONEY 74, OUT-OF-DOOR ACADEMY 28 -- Justin Najmy led the host Cougars with 11 points and eight assists. Will Grauel and Blair Perry each added 10 points for the Cougars (4-1, 3-0 Class 3A-District 10).
SOUTHEAST 56, GULFPORT BOCA CIEGA 33 -- Keshawna Robinson's double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds) led the blowout for the host Seminoles. Bevin Mayes and DeAngela Mathis each added eight points for the Seminoles (11-1, 2-0 Class 5A-District 10).
BRADENTON CHRISTIAN 46, SAINT STEPHEN'S 9 -- Katie Swaagman's 15 points helped lift the host Panthers (5-5, 3-1 Class 3A-District 10) past the Falcons.
Sophie Giardina contributed 14 points and six steals, and Kali Gelston had nine rebounds for BCS.
OUT-OF-DOOR ACADEMY 32, CARDINAL MOONEY 26 -- Jenna Bloch poured in 11 points, and Lisa Hoffman had nine as the visiting Thunder improved to 5-3, 3-1 in Class 3A-District 10 play.
LAKEWOOD RANCH 7, PUNTA GORDA CHARLOTTE 0 -- Ben Wilson scored three goals, and Jake Dube added a pair to lead the host Mustangs (4-4-2, 3-2-2 Class 4A-District 11) past the Tarpons. Felipe Dangond and Martin Martinez had goals, and Nico Dangond recorded his second straight shutout.
VENICE 3, BRADEN RIVER 1 -- Jared Bieber provided the lone bright spot for the host Pirates (5-3-1, 4-2-1 Class 4A-District 11) on a pass from Mike Viallarante in a loss to the Indians.
SAINT STEPHEN'S 9, SARASOTA CHRISTIAN 3 -- Jeremy Jackman and Jorge Zavala each turned in three goals and two assists as the visiting Falcons (8-0, 8-0 Class 1A-District 7) dispatched the Blazers.
Matthew Jones pitched in with two goals, and Jon Boyd had an assists. J.J. Byrnes made five saves in goal.
OUT-OF-DOOR ACADEMY 5, IMAGINE SCHOOL OF NORTH PORT 0 -- Mark Sulimirski scored twice, and Will Harwell, Richard Vicek and Tyler Wenger added goals -- all i nthe first half as the visiting Thunder (7-4, 5-2 Class 1A-District 7) defeated the Sharks.
LAKEWOOD RANCH 5, CHARLOTTE 0 -- Danielle Wilson recorded her first shutout of the season. It was the tenth shutout overall for the visiting Mustangs who improved to 12-0-1 and 9-0-1 in 4A-District 11 play. Delaney Riggins led the offensive attack with a goal and three assists. Talia Falco added a goal and an assist. Carly Mitchell, Julia Nordhausen, and Julia Otriz each scored a goal as well. Bri Reda chipped in with an assist.
BRADEN RIVER 3, VENICE 1 -- Kayla Gray turned in a sensational night with a hat trick to lift the Pirates. Carley Engelberger had an assist while goalie Kat Elliott collected eight saves for the Pirates (8-1-2, 6-1-3 Class 4A-District 11).
SAINT STEPHEN'S 3, SARASOTA CHRISTIAN 0 -- Lindsay Leskinen came up with two goals and an assist for the visiting Falcons (9-1, 8-0 Class 1A-District 7).
Caroline Gregory scored the other goal for Saint Stephen's. Kelsey Leskinen and Kendall Miller had assists, and goalkeepers Bryce Leibel and Kassandra Woodruff combined for six saves.
OUT-OF-DOOR ACADEMY 9, IMAGINE SCHOOL OF NORTH PORT 1 -- Katie Lang, Lexi Murphy and Sierra Dickerson netted two goals apiece as the visiting Thunder rolled past the Sharks.
Lang added four assists, and Murphy had two assists. Abby Lagasse, Miller Condrack and Nicole Petron contributed goals, and Natalie Chait dished out an assist.
PALM HARBOR UNIVERSITY 42, MANATEE 30 -- The visiting Hurricanes fell to the No. 3 team in the state despite having three wrestlers who remain undefeated this season.
Caleb Rudisill (113-pound weight class), Jesse Fulk (160), and Dakoda Dossey (170) won their respective matches to improve to 17-0. Marshall Craig (106), John Baldwin (182) and Justin Robertson (120) also won.
