The Marauders pounded out 11 runs and 11 hits on Tuesday in an 11-5 win over the Stone Crabs in Charlotte. Kevin Kramer was one for three with three RBIs in the game, including a two-run single in the third inning.
Taylor Gushue walked to lead off the frame and Escobar singled to center after there was one out. After Cole Tucker struck out, Tito Polo singled to score Gushue, and Kramer’s single brought home Escobar and Polo.
In the fifth inning, the Marauders increased their lead to 6-1 as Michael Suchy homered, Escobar doubled, Tucker doubled to score Escobar, Polo singled to advance Tucker to third and Kramer hit a sacrifice fly to score Tucker.
In the top of the eighth, Bradenton struck again on a single by Gushue, a walk to Suchy, two errors on pickoff attempts that advanced the runners, then scored Gushue and sent Suchy to second base. A wild pitch sent Suchy to third base and after Escobar lined out Suchy scored on another wild pitch.

But the Marauders weren’t done yet. In the top of the ninth, a three-run rally with two out secured the game. Chase Simpson walked, Connor Joe singled to right, Gushue doubled to score Simpson, Suchy walked, pinch-hitter Luplow walked to score Joe, and then Tucker singled to drive in Gushue.
Charlotte tried to come back and managed two runs in the bottom of the ninth.
