Some lucky college students will be taking their talents to South Beach working as Miami Heat’s LeBron James interns.
On Tuesday morning, the NBA MVP’s official website posted a listing asking for “students who have an interest in online content development and digital sports marketing.” The job entails researching trends, social media interaction with fans and assisting with content development on the website. No basketball skills required.
The apparent marketing position will be open only to college students fluent in Spanish and with experience in journalism, marketing or communications.
But don’t think it’ll be a walk in the park.

The internship requires a commitment of three semesters -- spring, summer and fall -- with interns working at least 10 hours a week.
And for all your work, the intern will get the experience of working under LeBron’s label. The posting doesn’t say anything about compensation.
Applicants must write a 500-word minimum essay about why they are “the perfect person for the internship,” as well as a cover letter and resume.
