Logan Hill’s solo home run in the top of the ninth inning broke a 3-3 tie and sparked the Bradenton Marauders to a 5-3 victory against the Daytona Tortugas on Thursday in Daytona Beach in the Florida State League.
Later in the inning, Casey Hughston hit a triple, his fifth, to drive in an insurance run.
The late offense by the Marauders (26-15) made a winner out of reliever Casey Sadler (1-0), who allowed a run in the eighth to blow the save opportunity. He struck out the side in the ninth to earn his first professional win since 2015.
Bradenton starter Dario Agrazal dazzled for seven innings. He held the Tortugas (22-19) to one earned run while striking out eight and not walking a batter. Agrazal needed 79 pitches.
Robert Stock (1-3) took the loss.
