Sunday's Dallas Morning News editorial, "Clock bomb has mix-up a chilling effect," tries to build a case just because a 14-year old student was a Muslim. My question would be: Did it appear to be a potential bomb before or after it was determined the student was a Muslim?
Were the 9/11 pilots identified as Muslim before or after they flew into the World Trade Center in New York? Was the Fort Hood officer a Muslim before or after he murdered unarmed soldiers? Were the Boston bombers Muslim before or after they killed and maimed with their pressure cooker bombs?
Overreact? My behind!
You expect people to believe that a studious-looking, 14-year-old student, who just happened to be Muslim did not know what his intent was with a device, explained to be a clock in a pencil box was?
All Muslims get their guidance from the same book; some just select the passages that they can kill for justification. Would this device have gotten on a plane, through TSA, to Washington, or passed the Secret Service into the White House for his invited visit?
