In regards to the road work on State Road 70 from 14th Street West to 15th Street East, the manhole covers stick up really bad and they really need to be fixed.
When driving down the road and you hit one it throws your vehicle's front out of alignment. There's no way you can swerve around them so you really have no choice but to hit them.
Now my car, and I'm very sure other cars, needs to be repaired. It completely knocked my front alignment out of balance.
I'm sure several others would say if they are going to use taxpayers' money to do roadwork, it should be done correctly. They need to get back out there and fix each and every manhole cover that is sticking up too high.
Never miss a local story.
When people hit those manhole covers, it's extremely loud and as for me it hurts me really bad due to my health issues and I refuse to keep paying to get my vehicles aligned.
I will start sending the repair bills to workers doing roadwork. They just really need to get out here and fix these manhole covers, preferably as soon as possible.
